USCIS OPENS APPLICATION SUPPORT CENTER IN CHULA VISTA
El Cajon Fingerprinting Services Are Moved to Chula Vista
SAN DIEGO – U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced today that its Application Support Center (ASC) on El Cajon Boulevard has been moved to Chula Vista. The new office, opening for business tomorrow, will be located at 1261 Third Avenue, Suite H. The new ASC is located in the same building as the USCIS Chula Vista Field Office, in an opposite corner suite (Suite H):
This move is being made in order to better serve the public. The ASC space in El Cajon proved too small to cope with the increased number of immigration benefits applicants who require fingerprint processing, and the parking lot too small to deal with the volume of business. The majority of the customers processed in this area reside in the southern part of San Diego County, so Chula Vista will be more convenient. The new location offers easy access by public transportation and plenty of parking.

With this move, the San Diego District has three ASC sites for biometric appointments: Chula Vista, Imperial and San Marcos. Applicant appointments in Chula Vista and San Marcos will be redistributed to shorten the travel distance for USCIS customers.
